Pros:
- Loyal and loving.
- Alert.
- Moderately active, some may be hyper-active.
- Don't shed excessively and easy to groom.
- Great deterrants for criminals.
- Great with kids.
- Smart and learns commands quickly.
- Loves to be with their people.
- Perfect for people who wants a clingy dog.
- They are goofy. No less.
- Highly-trainable.
- Will keep solicitors away.
Cons:
- Very smart, they will outsmart you if you are not prepared. Can be very stubborn.
- They need to be properly socialized to avoid over-protectiveness. You also need to be very consistent.
- You constantly have to defend the breed from idiots that still believe they are vicious.
- If not well socialized to cats and or other animals, their in-born prey-drive will be inevitably uncontrollable in the future.
- Loud barking may disturb next door neighbors.

Other thoughts:
[Depending on how you look at it]
- Clingyness - they DO NOT like to be left alone. This is not an independent breed.
- MAY or MAY NOT do well with strangers.
- They will accept anyone that you invite into your home, but they may be wary of anyone that you are not friendly with.
